  1. Oh, the Lettera 32 is fantastic. It’s a real joy to use and a whiz to maintain. I’m looking for ward to more Lettera-produced typecasts!

  2. Fantastic essay!
    My father gave me his Lettera 32, which he used throughout the latter 30 years of his career (as a computer programmer. He had extra math symbols added to the keyboard). So the machine always reminds me of my hardworking and brilliant father. He took great care of the Lettera, so it feels like it was only warmed up for my use. He bought it, he says, around 1970- on West 23rd Street, in Manhattan.

  5. Seeing “Craigs List” written on a typewriter is incredibly weird. It’s like hearing a mandolin play techno music.
